Reviewing theatrical performances with Murray Bramwell

In addition to his career teaching classes in the Drama Department at Flinders University, Murray Bramwell has been reviewing live performance since 1986. Mostly it has been theatre, but also cabaret, circus, comedy and popular music. He has published in Adelaide newspapers as well as national publications and specialist journals. He has covered most of the theatre seasons and festivals in Adelaide for thirty years and considers that both a marvellous opportunity and a great privilege. Murray still takes notes when he is in the theatre – and he still can’t read his writing in the dark.
